5 km southeast of Mykonos Town. The best beach on Mykonos. Wide and beautiful with many restaurants and several hotels. There’s a mini-market and direct buses to Mykonos Town. This is where you catch the water-taxi to Super Paradise and other beaches.

5. Elia Beach

6. Paradise Beach
6 km south of Mykonos Town. A young lively party-beach with many bars spilling out onto the sand. After the sun goes down the party just gets louder. Buses go directly from Mykonos Town to Paradise Beach. Paradise Beach was once the most popular gay beach but is now largely straight.

7. Super Paradise Beach
7 km southeast of Mykonos Town. A small beach with plenty of activity and 2 or 3 beach bars. No direct buses but there are small boats from Platis Gialos and Paradise Beach to Super Paradise Beach. Probably the most gay-friendly beach on Mykonos. There are no hotels on Super Paradise Beach.
8. Lia Beach
14 km east of Mykonos Town. Beautiful beach that’s quiet and has great swimming. Also a good snorkeling beach. No public transit.
9. Fokos Beach
13 km northeast of Mykonos Town. A quiet and secluded beach. There are no tourist facilities here but there is an amazing taverna just off the beach. The taverna is worth a trip in itself. No public buses come to Fokos – you’ll need to get here by private transportation.
10. Kalo Livadi beach
11 km east of Mykonos Town. Although Kalo Livadi is far from Chora, this is an organized beach with many umbrellas and sun beds.
11. Kalafatis beach
13 km east of Mykonos Town. Kalafatis is a lovely beach famous for its watersport centres. The soft sand, the crystal water and the light breeze attract many visitors there.
12. Agios Stefanos beach

13. Megali Ammos Beach
